The Kinark Foundation raises funds and makes grants in support of initiatives focused on children's mental health, including prevention, education,
respite and treatment. The projects featured below are a sample of those currently seeking funding support.
The Kinark Outdoor Centre (KOC) is a program of Kinark Child and Family Services dedicated to developing and implementing therapeutic recreation,
outdoor education, and social growth experiences. One specific program offered through KOC is the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Family Respite Program.
From resources and treatment funding to a lack of available supports and anxiety, frustration, and guilt, the stresses placed on families are overwhelming.
ASD Family Respite has been designed to give families of children with Autism the support and respite that they need in a camp environment that is safe and welcoming.
The Kinark Foundation is proud to support KOC and ASD Family Respite, for more information about this incredible program, please take a moment and view the video below.
